Late Arrivals
If arriving after office hours, it is best to call and let us know that you will be arriving late. One of our office staff will give you directions on how to pick up your keys and be shown to you room.
If you will be arriving late, it's best to be aware that as Swansea is a small country town, No restaurants will be open after 8pm, Petrol stations, supermarkets and everything else in town shut down early.
Swansea Motor Inn is an older motel located in Swansea, set out on attractive grounds with Free Barbeque and Picnic tables which overlook Great Oyster Bay and the Hazards.
Our Swansea motel is located on the East Coast of Tasmania about 90 minutes from Hobart to the South and Launceston to the west.
Swansea is a great base to explore the region, if you are looking for accommodation close to Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay the Hazards or Wine Glass Bay you can easily drive and enjoy your day out, and then return home at night to relax.

Upstairs Spa Suite - This room is our largest motel room, with gorgeous views over Great Oyster Bay, it has a large 2 person spa in the bathroom for you to relax and enjoy your stay.
Downstairs Premium Bayview Rooms - Our premium rooms are our most recently renovated rooms with gorgeous views looking out over the great Oyster Bay, they are a spacious downstairs room with a queen bed and modern bathroom.
Budget Rooms - Our budget rooms are our smallest rooms, they are great for a quick stop. These rooms are on the road side of the motel and have NO View. They are comfortable but older.
Downstairs Bay View Queen Room - This is our smallest Ocean view room in the oldest part of our motel, They are a comfortable room with a small balcony that overlooks the great Oyster bay.
Come stay for a few days at Swansea Motor Inn and make this your base to travel and enjoy the scenery, then come back to relax on the outdoor settings, swim in the Bay or have a BBQ and watch the birds or dolphins if they are out playing -
